The Barangaroo Art Implementation Plan is here
The Barangaroo Art Implementation Plan 2023 has been published, marking a significant step in the evolution of Barangaroo as an emerging vibrant harbourside destination for visual arts and culture.
It provides an outline of our ongoing commitment for the Barangaroo precinct to deliver public art which inspires people. The Plan builds upon the Barangaroo Public Art and Cultural Plan 2015, which governs the commissioning and management of public art and cultural programs.
Together with the Heritage Interpretation Plan from 2022, these Plans aim to:
- attract people to Barangaroo through public art and heritage interpretation that contributes to Barangaroo’s evolving character and atmosphere
- celebrate and reflect the site’s First Nations and waterfront histories
- give people an ever-changing program of temporary Barangaroo events and exhibits.
